Yes. this is Mr.Holmes from the show "Sherlock" on BBC, and yes I am a fan of everything that is sherlock... XD
I was talking to my brother yesterday, while of course watching sherlock, and for a long time-- Sherlock has been a positive influence--- especially the sherlock series. I got this idea to start drawing him and me interacting, and One quote he had said in the show, that really stood out to me was---

Sherlock: Listen, [points to his head] This is my hard-drive, and it only makes sense to put things in there that are useful. Really usefull. Ordinary people fill their heads with all kinds of rubbish, and that makes it hard to get at the stuff that matters! Do you see?
John: [brief silence; looks at sherlock incredulously] But it's the solar system!
Sherlock: [extremly irritated] Oh, hell! What does it matter?! So we go around the sun! If we went around the moon or round and round the garden like a teddy bear, it wouldn't make any diffrence! All that matters to me is my work! Without that, my brain rots. Put that in your blog--or better still, stop inflicting your opinions on the world!

And that scene of that show has helped me out through some tough spots and temptations to look at "things". Whats the point in looking at that rubbish if its not going to do anything for you? Or allowing someone elses drama or their hatful comments get to you? It hurts yeah but it doesn't make any difference unless you allow it to get to you, but it shouldn't if you would just ignore it.

Its thanks to characters like sherlock, that help me move along and escape the depression and stress I have been battling for 3 years now. I like to think that Sherlock is my spiritual guide or the voice in my head, my self-conscious. Its silly, but to me, I think of what "Jesus would do" I also think too of "What would sherlock do"? And thinking like them has helped me out, again through temptations and rough spots.
Anyway, I wanted to doodle something with sherlock~ and I love how he came out here, considering I lack experiance in drawing people. I'm hoping to draw him more in the future, maybe some interaction between me and him, like instead of talking to myself-- I'm having a conversation with Mr.Holmes XD Just something I like to do for myself. But besides all this, I hope you guys approve of my cartoon version of Sherlock ^^
